今年もよい１年になりますように

Kadomatsu are gate ornaments mainly consisting of pine branches and bamboo. A pair of them are usually placed at the front door of houses and buildings during New Year holiday in Japan.
Kadomatsu symbolizes longevity and prosperity.
写真は京都駅4Ｆの室町小路広場にて。
私の背よりも高く、とっても大きく立派な門松でした。
門松は、長寿と繁栄の象徴とされています。

ちなみにこの場所、クリスマスシーズンには
巨大なクリスマスツリーが輝いています^^
