あじさい園開園 / The Temple of Hydrangea
Hydrangea is a symbol of June, the early summer rainy season in Japan.
Mimuroto-dera Temple in Uji City, Kyoto is famous for being one of the best hydrangea viewing spots in Japan. It is also known as the Temple of Hydrangea or the Temple of Flowers.
It is a very beautiful spot filled with hydrangeas. The number of hydrangeas is said to be about ten thousand.
今日から6月ですね。6月といえば、紫陽花。
「花の寺」「あじさい寺」とも呼ばれる京都府宇治市の三室戸寺で、今年もあじさい園が開園になりました。一万株のあじさいが咲き乱れます。
